Raw brings the power of ‘rawism’ to the viewer through original and simple recipes that support vibrant health. The series focuses on the nutritional value of different raw foods and how to incorporate them into your diet in an easy, fun way. It also explores the value of organic and fair-trade products, cultural food practices, conscious eating, the vibrational effect of food on the human system, lifestyle, travel and the impact we have on the environment.
Each episode features a cultural food specialty that will be converted into a raw or vegan recipe. The process begins with buying ingredients from markets and farms and continues on to preparation as nutritionists or other specialists infuse the program with their professional insight. Last but not least, the program has a holistic approach, to which food is a great gateway.
Raw's recipes and techniques are not just for vegetarians but more for people who really like food. The series teaches people that you don’t have to be vegetarian to be able to incorporate the principles of this way of eating into their everyday lives.
