Episode 101: LORETO
Joining host Bill Boyce in Loreto is Baja fishing expert Chris Wheaton and the FISHIN' FOR THE MISSION Tournament Director, Jim Duggins. They target large yellowtail then go for a variety of grouper species that inhabit these historic waters. The cooking segments entice your pallet with local seafood delicacies from the Sea of Cortez
Episode 102: BAHIA MAGDALENA
Viewers will experience the most unique marine environment in all of Baja, magnificent Bahia Magdalena or “Mag Bay”. Hundreds of miles of mangrove lined channels support an array of fishery diversity rarely seen anywhere on the planet. Bill fishes with two devoted charter operators, Harvey Tucker and Chris Jones whose conservation ethics provide great insight to the potential risk this bay faces with the constant pressure of illegal gillnets.
Episode 103: LA PAZ
La Paz is the capital great city just minutes from several islands and beaches making it a boater’s paradise. You'll tour the scenic seaside “Malacon” embarcadero while we survey many great local eateries La Paz has to offer. We will fish with local Pangaro, Captain Adolfo, and then join Captain Chris Jones for some inshore fishing and oceanfront touring of some local hide-away gems. Then we splash with Fun Baja to explore an undersea shipwreck, and see what oceanic critters we can cross paths with.
Episode 104: EAST CAPE RESORTS
The sport fishing Mecca East Cape has several great resorts to enjoy its overwhelming beauty, and we explore them all. From larger resorts catering to tournaments and large family outings such as Palmas De Cortez, to the quaint surroundings of Buena Vista Beach Resort with a natural hot springs spa, then the romantic setting of Rancho Leonero. Fishing with Mike Dixon and Rob Bowie of ENGEL Coolers, Baja writer Gary Graham and Cabo restaurateur Brian Solomon we target blue marlin, striped marlin, jacks and roosterfish in these infamous productive waters.
Episode 105: SAN JOSE DEL CABO
San Jose Del Cabo, the historic mission town has culturally transformed into the finest art district in all of Baja, attracting visitors from all over the world. We talk art with French artist Francois Paris who then provides a tour of the local night life and art scene. We fish marlin near the famous Gorda Banks just a short run out of Puerto Los Cabos Marina, then happily sample the epic culinary skills of Tadd Chapman who wines and dines us at his Restaurant Don Sanchez
Episode 106: CABO VILLAS
We visit Chris Erickson’s Cabo Villa Beach Resort in Cabo San Lucas, and tour the amazing developments being made there, then head offshore with Chris on his Bisbee Tournament winning 35’ CABO sport fisher, the BAD MEDICINE in search of striped marlin that make “Lands End” the Marlin Capital of the World. We extend an invite to dozens of local underprivileged kids for a day of offshore fishing in hopes of igniting a spark of interest to pursue a career in the fishing / tourism industry in their front yard
Episode 107: SOLOMONS LANDING
Baja Sur is full of “Gringo” success stories such as the one told by Brian Solomon of Solomon’s Landing Restaurant on the marina in Cabo San Lucas. This Cordon Bleu trained seafood chef is a huge sport fishing aficionado taking every opportunity to get out of the restaurant and head offshore. We’ll fish Brian’s twin engine catamaran in search of his favorite piscatorial pursuit, the yellowfin tuna to give viewers a cooking lesson in fine fish dining. Then enjoy the thrill the school kids get from their first time enjoying the addiction of sport fishing.
Episode 108: FISHING TOURNAMENTS
Enjoy the fun and the fishing to be had in the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament, and the BISBEE Black and Blue Tournament; from the electrifying shot-gun starts, to the prolific marlin fishery found offshore, you’ll see why Cabo does tournaments better than any location on earth. We enjoy pre-fishing these events with the owner of KING SAILFISH MOUNTS, Raymond Douglas, then we join Brian and Tawnie Walley on their 60’ HATTERAS, the REEL ENERGY to see if any marlin want to come out and play.
Episode 109: SPORTS and MEDICAL TOURISM
The Los Cabos area has become a major sports activity center. From golf, surfing, off-roading, fishing, diving, swimming, and biking, this region is quickly becoming the “go-to” spot for organized competitions. Join us at the Gran Fondo International bike race and the famous IRONMAN competition where the rigors of the Baja must be conquered for victory. You'll meet athletes who relax and train at the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar Resort. We explore the Sports Medicine and Medical Tourism movement at the new world class Koral Center facility and the Hospital H+ complex. Then get in a family fishing day with some managers and doctors giving them marlin fishing thrills of a lifetime
Episode 110: MI CASA RESTAURANT
With the culinary creativity found in Baja Sur, few restaurateurs match the ambiance and the food found in the Mi Casa, Peacock, and La Panga restaurants of Los Cabos. Owner Günter and his wife Keisha have scoured the Mexican countryside for the recipes and the artifacts that make their establishments stand alone in the dining world of Los Cabos. Then we highlight the diving skill it takes that makes Baja Sur a priority free diving destination, with hopes of spearing a fish for a culinary treat. You’ll even learn about two cultural Mexican celebrations: Day of the Dead, and a youthful Piñata Party.   
Episode 111: QUIVIRA LOS CABOS
After this visit to Los Cabos, you’ll want to get of piece of this paradise for yourself, and we'll introduce viewers to an excellent option, the Quivira – Pueblo Bonito development. Located adjacent to the finest beach casting habitat in the area and within site of a longtime hotspot for marlin, dorado, and tuna. We will enjoy all that fishing action, while exploring the resort's amazing golf, creature comforts, and ambiance that waits. We also participate in a baby sea turtle release from the beaches of Quivira that has helped the scientific rehabilitation of this once heavily declining population.
Episode 112: ACTIVITIES SHOW
Fishing isn’t the only major attraction in Baja Sur..!!! We show you several other family fun activities to enjoy when the fish aren’t biting. From the Pez Gato wine and jazz sunset cruises, to scuba diving Cabo Pulmo Reef, and off road motorcycling the beaches and canyons of East Cape, we immerse ourselves in all that is BAJA SUR in this episode. Get a nightlife tour of Cabo, and even a swim with dolphins. This fun filled episode will also show viewers the excellent work that charities like Grassroots Global / Inspire Mexico are doing to better the lives of those less fortunate in Los Cabos.
Episode 113: BEST OF DESTINATION BAJA SUR Season ONE
Just as the title suggests, these are the best moments of Season ONE of the DESTINATION: BAJA SUR series. From fishing with expert captains and guides, we'll prove the fun to be had when a fishing adventure is booked in Baja Sur. Highlights of the food, adventures, and the great people we met who made the series a great experience to shoot and produce will be showcased for those who followed the series to once again re-live its best moments.  

EPISODE #201Loreto
Loreto was established in 1697, and considered the first Spanish colonial settlement on the Baja California Peninsula. We take viewers on tours of this quaint seaside town and on some off-road adventures as well. We fish for grouper and yellowtail, then visual samples of the underwater wildlife and fauna that is waiting to be discovered in Baja’s oldest city.
EPISODE #202Villa Del Palmar
A 5 star resort just south of Loreto is the Islands of Loreto / Villa Del Palmar Resort, developed on the serene shores of Danzante Bay, offering luxury, dining, and outdoor activities. We golf, spa, and of course fish for some of the fabulous grouper species that inhabit the islands that surround the resort. Then take viewers to a historic indigenous Indian clam bake demonstration of tasty local culinary skills.
EPISODE #203La Paz
Truly one of the most beautiful cities in all of Mexico, La Paz is best experienced when viewed by walking Baja’s finest beachside Malacon (oceanfront) during a renowned sunset. We fish with the Tail Hunter and Mosquito fleets where large roosterfish and acrobatic dorado are the target species. Then join us on some very tasty food tours where the finest dining, the best tacos, and the most authentic Mexican breakfast can be found everyday of the week
EPISODE #204 Puerto Los Cabos
The artfully classy town of San Jose Del Cabo is featured in this episode and more specifically the amazing Puerto Los Cabos Resort / Marina / Golf Course. We fly with 7 wounded vets of the Freedom Alliance group on the private jet of Anthony Hsieh to then fish marlin from his custom 92’ sportfisher, the BAD COMPANY. Tears and beers are flowing as it is our chance to finally GIVE BACK quality fishing time to the vets who have made us so proud with their service.
Episode #205Charter Boat Classic Tournament
Not all tournaments have to be mega dollar events to have the competition and the fishing fleets of Baja Sur to get excited. The Charter Boat Classic Tournament is put on by the Los Cabos Tourism Board and it fills hotels and charter operations with anglers who fish the event for free, just by signing up, staying in a local hotel, and booking a local charter, all to compete for some hefty cash prizes.

Join the Cobian Sandal PRO SURF Team on the 160’ Pacific Provider to sample all the remote East Cape hotspots.  Joining us are Bethany Hamilton, Zane Schweitzer, Jeff Clark, Mark Neustadter, Sam George, as we fish for striped marlin offshore and jack crevelle and roosters inshore to see which one of these talented surfers will have any luck behind a fishing rod.

Episode #209Baja Norte heading South
We take you all from Baja Norte’s port of Ensenada toward Baja Sur on the 160’ Pacific Provider. But not until you enjoy some of the wine country that is putting Baja Norte on the world map. We tour of a bluefin tuna pen, the latest marine aquaculture craze that is joining the Baja peninsula with Asia markets. On the trip south we fish Sacramento Reef, Geronimo Island and Cedros Island to see which produces the best angling results.
Episode #210Punta Aberojos
Once a sleepy fishing village at the end of a 55 miles dirt road, Punta Aberojos has prospered greatly in becoming the most successful, well managed commercial fishing co-ops in all of Baja. We will tour the abalone, and lobster processing plants and get an in-depth view of how precise and professional this operation is. Then we fish giant grouper and calico bass in the inner bays and local hotspots that are home to the highest concentration of grouper in all of Baja.
Episode #211Bahia Magdalena
Pulling into “Mag Bay” on the Pacific Provider to fish with Captain Chris Jones put us on all his favorite spots, and then we return once again for the “striped marlin show” to film their massive concentrations in the fall, showing viewers the most prolific marlin fishing in the world. When you see close to a thousand marlin a day. … something fun is going to happen.  We get to enjoy a few nights of Baja Beach Bumming with Chris at his seasonal charter camp inside Mag Bay, its truly what Baja is ALL ABOUT.

No other marlin tournament in the world can match the participation, the winning cash prizes or the gala festivities that are and always have been the BISBEE BLACK and BLUE. Over 120 boats compete for million dollar pay backs where one marlin can make you instantly rich.
